A political war of words continued at Richmond City Hall Monday over the prospect of a sweeping review of city services.
“We can always do better, that is our constant mandate. But don’t wait for a service level review to talk about how you can do better,” Mayor Malcolm Brodie told his council colleagues.
Couns. Chak Au, Ken Johnston and Carol Day opposed final adoption of the five-year financial plan Monday, reiterating their concerns of the document’s annual three per cent tax hikes beyond 2015’s 1.9 per cent increase.
