Richmond launches free program to help local businesses amid COVID-19

Richmond business owners now have access to a newly-launched program to help them recover and adapt to the impacts COVID-19 has made to their businesses.

The Richmond Business Resilience Program was launched by the city in partnership with Richmond’s Economic Development office and Spring Activator – a company that designs programs to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses – and will be available for all Richmond-based businesses starting June 10. …

“The Richmond Business Resilience Program builds on a number of city initiatives that are helping local businesses as they transition into recovery during this very difficult and uncertain time,” said Mayor Malcolm Brodie.

“By providing resources that are specifically tailored to the Richmond community, we are ensuring our businesses have the proper framework necessary to overcome the pandemic.” …
